~* yesterday *~

...was the sweetest. [caption id="attachment_9537" align="aligncenter" width="472"] I love antique lockets... carrying pictures of my babies close to my heart. These photos are old but very dear to me as the boys are so happy in them ♥[/caption] Starting by the morning, when we slept blissfully late... Had the loveliest wake-up call when my youngest son climbed into bed with me to warm up his toes and have a heart-to-heart conversation, with tickling... And we were in a hurry to go NOWHERE... Things did spice and speed up considerably after that... But remained the sweetest. You see, both my sons had their birthdays last week. So our week has been filled by birthday songs, grandmom visits, family pancake parties (lettukestejä...); all culminating in a major birthday party slash kick-off for the summer for all the kids' friends, at a local underground kid's playground theme park -kind of a place. Already the tram ride from school to the venue was hilarious. Retrospectively. I was alone with such an excited bunch of boys that even the silent & sulky Finns in rush hour traffic sent me smiles and wishes of courage as I struggled not to loose any of the kids.. At Leikkiluola there were 30something kids running all to different directions, searching for interesting & absolutely forbidden stuff to do... Like in a scene from Vaahteranmäen Eemeli (a legendary Finnish children's book), I found my son busy climbing to the top of the playground structure, hanging from an electric cord with his cousins in active pursuit pushing him upwards from his bottom...  Others cheering the rascals on... Then the party guests found holes in the ropes keeping the playground somewhat safe... And crawled into the structures, aiming at the 6-meter rooftop as well... Me crawling after them, pulling at best 8 giggling toddlers out of the damn tube... By the end of the evening my voice was gone. And the rest of me, finished. But great fun was had by all...♥. ..And the party continued at our place, with best friends & cousins. I now have a second-grader and a pre-schooler at home...♥. And a proud mama who needs a week's vacation to recover from all the festivities. ~*♥*~

~* a time to say thank you *~

Today, a dear friend sent me this poem that had made her think about me. So perfect it brought tears to my eyes. I wish she only knew how poignant was her timing. "En toivo sinulle, että olisit "vapaa" vailla ihmisiä yksin kaukana aavassa maassa jossa on tilaa. Vaikka joskus saattaisit sellaista kaivatakin. Toivon sinulle ystäviä, avuliaita, häiritseviä, niitä joita tarvitset tai jotka tarvitsevat sinua. Toivon sinun löytävän kiinnekohtia kuin muratti lujasta rungosta, että saat voimaa olla runko niille, joita sinun on kannettava." - Jörg Zink I'm sorry for not being competent enough to translate poetry.. Saara, I know you'll read this one day.. Thank you. For understanding. For everything. For your shoulder. On which last weekend, once again, I got to cry my sorrows. This one's for you and Kalevi. And if ever YOU should need a friend please give me the honor of being the shoulder you can lean on. ~*♥*~

~* Fairydust, Angeltouch *~

After yesterday, I wanted to talk to you about something pure and beautiful. And I thought about Mali. [caption id="attachment_9448" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Never ever have I come across more beautiful, more luminous portrait on motherhood. This magical photo is taken by Raluca Cozma.[/caption] The true wonder of blogging is coming across people, places, music, moments... even objects, that truly touch a little blogger's soul. One of those people is Mali, loveliest of beauties. A True Real Life Fairy Angel. The most divine bohemian princess bride on her wedding day.. Beautiful inside & out. With an artistic bohemian wedding gown, so charming, so unique... Completed by a romantic lacy veil and a fairy tiara by Mo Puccino. To me, these picture epitomize love. True, deep happiness. Such belonging. [caption id="attachment_9477" align="aligncenter" width="500"] These wedding photos, a class apart from the standard stiff poses, have in my opinion truly captured the heart and soul of this lovely couple. Mircea Ciuca Photography has waved the magic wand here.[/caption] There's magic in this lady. That's why I asked her if I could share a glimpse of her universe with you... And I must tell, the only thing more beautiful than Mali and her husband together is the couple with sweet, sweet little daughter. Unfortunately I can't show you photos of Mama Mali with her little tresor as I'm rather careful with displaying babies or children on the internet... But pictures baby Sanziana are pure bliss. Mali is the heart and soul of Samsara Chill Out Tea House's  in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This dream garden is on my (short)list of places to visit... But perhaps I will be lucky, and meet the lovely Mali at another wedding, rather soon...♥. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Photo by Raluca Cozma. Ah, how I would love to have some LadyBohemia moments photographed by this artist..[/caption] ~*♥*~

~* What's Going On *~

Asks Marvin Gaye, and I. How happy and carefree we were only yesterday, my friend Sissi and I, on our way to attend a fashion show in Tallinn.

Not a cloud on our sky, a beautiful experience ahead. And after just one day's break of reading the news, the first thing to do upon our return is to frantically search whether my dear friend and her family, living in Hyvinkää and matching the descriptions of victims, are alive. Just this morning, waking up after a well-slept night in our beautiful hotel room, we played Erin's "On elämä laina" when putting on our make-up and peacefully getting ready for a lovely sunkissed day of strolling around the Old Town, meeting a few designers, buying flowers from the flower market...

Just this morning, this was another song. PS. For those who got worried about my friend: I still haven't reached her. The worst seems to have hit other families than theirs, but there's very little information about the wounded. So I can't sleep until I do reach her. What's going on??? ~*♥*~

~* Butterflying around and about *~

I'm not quite sure whether I like it or not, but many people have nicknamed me Butterfly. Strangely, it's mostly men, starting with my father when I was little. I've been written Butterfly inspired poems that made me cry,  it's been engraved into jewellery given to me. Most fitting, in my opinion, is Serge's habit of using Butterfly as a verb in my regard. "Have you done something useful today, or just butterflied around?" Of course most often, I've just butterflied...

Most beautiful of all Butterfly themed tributes however, is this song by Heli Kajo. I've listened to it a hundred times tonight already... and just can't stop. ~*♥*~
