~* Little things wonderful *~

I've collected some personal favorites of mine here for you... A sweeeeet bohemian piece of ankle jewellery. I just love this; will try to find someone to make one for me...

20's inspired dress, sultry 'n sweet A beautiful piece of vintage jewellery...Ah.

Pearls, carried with attitude... Like so.

MmmmmMmmm... a bandanna for flowy wavy summer hair... My inspiration for today came from these little touches, found from here & there and everywhere... Hope they bring a little dance into yours steps this Monday...♥ ~*♥*~

~* Swoon *~

Some days deserve a little bit of lace on them, light as a touch of butterfly. Here goes ladies (gentlemen?). Let yourselves be swept away for a little moment. The dress below - not to mention the divine stockings! -  are by the lovely Estonian designer Kristina Viirpalu. She actually hosts a fashion show and event in Tallinn next month, and LadyBohemia has been invited! I'm  excited already as I admire Kristina Design  so much. What a treat her show will be for me.... I'll keep you posted on that one, my dear readers. *~ True Colors ~*

One of my most beloved pieces is this coffer, from 19th century Provence. When I first saw this handmade, hand painted beauty in the dusty corner of an antique shop, I knew she belonged with me. And home she came immediately, even though I had to negotiate, twist & turn and practically beg to come up with the money for it. And again, we ate oatmeal for a month... But every time I look at it, I feel the sun of Provence. ~*♥*~

~* crochet, cozy, romantic, cuddly, chunky... *~

So. It's rainy and slushy outside today... Don't let it get to you, as you're about to get a dose of warmth and coziness, almost as magnificent as a fireplace readily lit up when you come home drained from work... Or a bath in candlelight. In the form of knitwear, I mean. Chunky, romantic, crochet... You CAN look lovely whilst keeping yourself warm all the way to your toes. Here are some photos I've collected for my rainy day inspiration. I've got a dress very much like this by Kristiina Viirpalu but those little black gloves would be an icing on the cake.... Ok, also the Vuitton suitcase adds a certain something. Thanks Unjung Jun for the idea-I'll definitely go for the gloves at least."][/caption] [caption id="attachment_7770" align="aligncenter" width="493" caption="This makes me think of my Hanski, who is responsible for everything practical existing in our household. She has personally knitted all woollen socks & gloves my kids & I possess, and some quilts in addition. So. Even though she currently lives in Holland, she still keeps us all warm. I'm so lucky to have her."][/caption]
Feeling a little warmer already? Rainy day kisses to all my lovely readers, from LadyBohemia ~*♥*~
