~'* swinging fashion défilé, and all that jazz *'~

Tomorrow, I've been invited to a fashion show to Tallinn, Estonia! Best of all, this is a collection by Kristina Viirpalu, one of my favorite designers. There will be 1920s style music and dance as the collection is inspired by Joséphine Baker and that era. I'll be staying in the old town, in a charming hotel that dates back to the 14th century. All the rooms are decorated individually with antique furniture... There's an Italian restaurant and a wine cellar...  A sauna, steam room and a jacuzzi... PurrrRrrrrrrfect. I'll post pictures of all the delicacies that cross my path...♥. And stories of little adventures I might encounter on the way... If I end up swing dancing on the table, I promise you a photo of that! ~*♥*~

~* snowboardin' strawberries *~

"Why is your home always so messy?" Was the innocent question of my son's school friend N.N. "Because My Mother Has So Many More Interesting Things To Do With Her Life, than just cleaning up around here", replied my son, equally earnestly. [caption id="attachment_8874" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Snowboarding strawberries, by my son. Gotta love imagination like this. PAF! BOUM!"][/caption] Whilst some mothers might feel a pinch in their hearts due to an episode such as this, I've tactically decided to perceive it as a feminist issue. Indeed. I do have more interesting things to do. ~**~

~* Polliwogs! *~

Back from holidays. Can't remember when I've last been this wiped out. Walked straight to bed from the front door, slept for 24 hours straight. Now slowly waking up to myself. Chose hunting for polliwogs (is that even a real word??) over antique markets, getting lost in the forest with my Robin Hoods over blogging. Have truly deserved the full score Wonderful Mama points I've granted myself over this vacation. Kids are so happy. Easter egg hunts, village children's celebration, fun new sports, farm visits, forest trips... They sure were in full swing, non-stop. Mamie and I are also happy. But like so: [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="554" caption="Photo Unjung Jun"][/caption] ~*♥*~

~* What the world needs now *~

Do you remember that song? It started playing in my head when I first saw this collage by All colors of the world. "What the world needs now is love sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of..." I actually spent quite a while today wondering which one of these photos best captures the essence of love... Well. On holiday one is entitled to problems such as this, right? ~*♥*~
