The Making of... Something Dreamy

Now that I'm shifting totally to the webshop (and pop-ups) Oona and I have had some hard core photographing days. Plenty of coffee, many laughs. But just wait till the end of this post to see the gorgeousness we created...

Making a studio at my home... Out of a vintage table cloth, a bedsheet and some gauze :).

Unfortunately, the bedsheet was too short for the frame... But we didn't give up.
Last touches... And this is what we came up with:

This dreamy outfit is actually custom made for me, but should you want to order one do send me a message, at the comments section of this post or at LadyBohemia Boutique in fb <3.

We did good on our first photoshoot for this project, no? There are so many more photos and clothes coming to the webshop soon...

Even my sweet perfectionist friend was happy... So after a couple of days, oops we did it again. And will do soon... Stay tuned <3

Much love,

~* making me feel beautiful *~

I found this delicate little lace dream from Paris, from the Le Bon Marché - arguably the most beautiful department store in the world. I only discovered this jewel this spring but shall definitely return... At the lingerie department, the fitting rooms were furnished by crystal chandeliers and Venetian mirrors... There was a kinda reception with two lovely ladies helping you out so you don't need to go wandering around the store in the little number you were trying on, should you need a better size or something... Yikes, every woman knows the inconvenience I'm talking about. But at Le Bon Marcé, each fitting room (salon, really) has an INTERCOM with which you can CALL for assistance. So there in the privacy of my little salon I asked myself. Do you really NEED this lacy underthingy? The answer, obviously, was NO. A bit fat no. But it made me feel so beautifullll...You know, how oftentimes it's what you wear under that makes all the difference... So ladies can you blame me... I brought my LaceDream home anyways. And it works like a charm. Every time I wear it I'm ready to hold my head up high and face the world with a smile ♥. ~*♥*~

~* The "how to" of lace *~

As summer and little dress season is approaching, I've gathered some ideas on how to add some ooompf to your favorite lacy pieces. Things such as a cool turquoise pendant. Softest leather bag. Signature vintage ring. Those skinny jeans. Like so (from the photo archives of Unjung Jun): Hmmm... what a combo of leather and torn fishnet -look stockings: You can accessorize your lacy dress with a handsome beau, and a coy smile... Or maybe you'd prefer a cool hat and a good book instead: And of course denim works, always. Or quite simply, with just a little bit of skin: MmmmmmMmm... I think it's time to dig out my little summer dresses from their winter hideaways. ~*♥*~
